808nm, 15W Fiber Coupled Laser Diode with Integrated Monitor Photodiode and Thermistor:
These fiber coupled 808nm laser diodes offer CW output power up to 15 Watts from a 400 μm core fiber pigtail. The packaging of these devices was developed to ensure high reliability through an advanced thermal design. These multimode lasers offers a spectral width of less than 6 nm and efficient fiber coupling. These sources have an integrated monitor photodiode to allow the user to drive them in a power feedback mode and a low-power red aiming / pilot laser to facilitate safe laser set-up and integration in your application.
808nm Laser Diode Designed for Long-Lifetime at High Operating Power:
The thermal design of the package allows these lasers to operate at high temperatures up to 70 °C. Heat management and thermal dissipation is partially achieved through the high surface flatness and finish of the base plate, which can be easily soldered to a heat sink. The laser package includes an internal 10 kΩ thermistor to allow for temperature measurement.
